“What a day.”

My daughter and I loved this walking tour. Our guide Jason was witty, insightful, extremely knowledgable and wove together so many different ideas, themes and moments in Bowie’s life in New York. If you’re a Bowie fan, this is a fantastic way to get to know him better.

“Amazing.”

Jason knows his stuff and did great research! Very amiable fellow as well. Very fun walk and very informative. Have been a fan for years and in NYC for years and still learned some new information. Jason sends you a bibliography with links for all of the information shared afterward as well, which is just aces. Overall fantastic experience and well, well done.

“There is a happy land.”

... and it’s on this tour. For Bowie fans of all types and ages, there are a multiple of things that you’ll learn or remind yourself of on this tour. Importantly, the key aspect is it teaches you about Bowie, the New Yorker - his favourite haunts, his influences and places of significance (eg Magic Shop; Electric Lady Studios). Jason is an enthusiastic and engaging host who brings wider and different parts of New York history to life as you tread the streets over the 3 hours, which fly by. The follow up bibliography that he sends afterwards is a treasure trove of interviews and facts which on its own is fascinating and well worth the $55. This is a brilliant tour from Jason who is a great guy and my new New York friend.

“I would recommend this tour for any music lover.”

My boyfriend and I strolled the streets with Jason learning about the city, Bowie and his fascinating life and little spots we have to hit on our next trip to NYC (lots of great jazz spots highlighted on the tour). Jason was professional, timely and most importantly, fun.

“Bowie Fan? This is a MUST.”

…I traveled to New York just to do this and it was absolutely worth it. This guy is really good and as I said if you get Bowie you've got to do this.

Our guide Jason of the Rebel Rebel: the Secret David Bowie tour is kind, funny and knows a lot about history and art. Jason gives an exciting and interesting look into the life of David Bowie in New York City. From the place where Bowie lived, where he recorded his albums to the cafes he loved to visit. Between the Bowie-hotspots he told us a lot about NYC: the people, the architecture, life, etc.). The Bowie-tour is a must for Bowie-fans if you are visiting New York City! And when you’re at home in your mailbox you find a beautiful Bowie Bibliography. Groeten.
